Liverpool boy loves Liverpool girl

When I was a young lad I got a job in Rylands Wireworks up in Warrington...I would be the only white face on the bus as it travelled up from Liverpool...all the other workers where from Liverpool’s black community and I have never forgotten how they looked after me and there generosity towards me...they would tell me how they fought in the war as pilots seaman and soldiers and how they all married Liverpool girls.... I wrote this song for them as I have never forgotten them...all the best...Tony Flanagan.
