"70 years ago in the May Blitz"

This shot has very frightening memories for me.. Where the trees are, there was an air raid shelter.....this was on the corner of Walton Lane. If the bomb had hit the church, I don't think we would be here to-day.
also in the shelter that night, was a young lad by the name of "Tom Baker" who became "Doctor Who".. he lived down Fountains Road.
