This is special image of mine, as I know both these "footballers" it was taken in 1972 in the Upper Stanhope Street area. Back then I was working as a black and white printer at Elsam, Mann and Cooper the commercial photographers in Princes Road. During lunchtimes we went around the back of the studios for a game of footie, not being a great player myself decided on this occasion to take some action shots of my workmates. The guy in mid-air is Dave Graham who I have lost touch with but the other is Roger Quayle who ultimately became a director at Elsams and to this day a very good commercial photographer based on the Wirral, we are still in contact, in fact he was best-man at my wedding. Perhaps Dave may see this and get in touch again.
